As Building 7 is now unoccupied, we believe this presents an opportunity to address a number of issues with the existing buildings and wider campus.

The proposals seek the refurbishment and extension of Building 7 in the heart of Devonshire Square, EC2M, and the upgrading of public realm around the Devonshire Square campus. The proposals seek to introduce a new mix of modernised workspaces; improved, landscaped outdoor public spaces; and upgraded landscaped courtyards, balconies and roof gardens; with a focus upon sustainability.

Greening and improved public realm forms a key part of our proposals.

We are proposing to enhance the public realm by introducing new soft landscaping and urban greening across the site. This also includes introducing greened terraces and roofs to help improve the outlook from neighbouring properties.

We believe this will help to soften the landscape around Devonshire Square, making it a more inviting environment for people to rest and enjoy, whilst also improving air quality and biodiversity in the area.
